What is Bolero Music ?

Bolero Music is a blockchain-based platform that lets you invest in music through tokens & NFTs, to bring artists and fans closer together. Our philosophy is to democratise blockchain by giving fans skin in the game, as well as creating a new, recurrent revenue stream for creators.

We allow artists to generate a new class of income while building a new decentralised membership for their fans.

Our artist tokens (ERC-20) can be considered as membership cards that give you access to exclusive rewards from the artists. You can keep these tokens to enjoy the membership and unlock rewards.

Our unique collectibles are non-fungible tokens (NFT, ERC-721) that carry exclusive pieces of art, music tracks, documents, visuals, video clips, or concert tickets. Everything is possible, the artists and their team can decide what kind of content they want to release as NFTs.

What is a crypto wallet?

A crypto wallet is a web-application or a hardware device that allows individuals to store and transfer digital assets like cryptocurrencies and non-fungible tokens (NFTs). This guide breaks down the crypto wallet basics that you may want to know before trading assets on Bolero Music.

When you install a crypto wallet (Metamask, Torus...), you take control of two 42-character keys; a public key, known as your wallet address, and a private key. You can think of your public key as your shareable bank account info, so copy and paste it in when people ask for your address. Your private key works like a password and should remain private.

If you forget your password, you can get access to your wallet via your seed phrase, a series of words that accompany all wallet addresses. It’s a good practice to write down and safely store your seed phrase in multiple places when you first download your wallet, so if you can't find it, search online for info or reach out to your wallet provider before buying artist tokens or NFTs.
